PARCHE Seeking More Partner Churches

Dear Friends,

As we step into a new year, we are writing on behalf of PARCHE to share some of the work the Lord is doing among care home residents in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas.

PARCHE exists to bring the hope of the Gospel into care homes, supporting residents through prayer, Scripture, and compassionate Christian presence. We are continually reminded that this ministry is sustained not by our efforts alone, but by the Lord’s faithfulness and the prayers of His people. We have seen doors open into care homes, volunteers strengthened, and residents comforted, prayed with, and reminded of the hope found in Christ.

Looking ahead, our desire is to strengthen our connection with local churches and to explore how we might work more closely together. We would love to learn how your church is already serving care homes, and to consider how PARCHE might support or complement that work. We are also prayerfully seeking those the Lord may be calling to serve through volunteering and ongoing prayer.

We believe this ministry flourishes best as part of the wider body of Christ, labouring together for His glory. As Scripture encourages us: “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).

Thank you for taking the time to read this. We look forward to all that the Lord will continue to do through His people in the year ahead.

With every blessing,

Buddy Reeve

Eastbourne Bible by the Beach 2026

Bible By The Beach 2026!

We often hear about living for Jesus, but what does this look like in the world that God has placed us? What does living for Jesus mean in the various contexts and frontlines we find ourselves in?

At our annual Bible By The Beach conference this year, we will be exploring just that, and we are really excited to invite you to join us! We will be joined by a number of well-known speakers on our main stage including Vaughan Roberts, Rebecca McLaughlin, and Glen Scrivener, as well as many of our partners hosting various seminar sessions, inspiring us to see how God can use us in the different life stages we’re at and the different spheres we find ourselves. And of course, we will also be running a fantastic children and youth work for our young people at this crucial stage in their lives.

Whilst the conference is open to anyone around the UK, we do want to be a particular blessing to the churches in Eastbourne, so that together we can make a difference for His Kingdom locally!

So do come along, or perhaps even come as a church: you don’t want to miss out!

Why Now?

We sense a decisive moment — a spiritual battle at the gate — calling the Church to respond with urgency, unity, and humility.

This is not a conference or event, but a national movement of prayer, open to all. We believe we are being called to three things:

  1. A Fresh Commitment to Prayer
Seeking God with hunger and humility.

  2. A Fresh Commitment to Consecration
Returning to holiness and wholehearted obedience.

  3. A Fresh Commitment to Bold Living
Courageous witness and living out the gospel with power and clarity.
