Pray 2025 to walk the Seaside/St Anthony area

Following an amazing year praying for our town as part of Prayer Eastbourne 2024, we left some unfinished business!

There are two outstanding areas to prayer walk through and one of them is the stretch from the Langney roundabout down through St Anthony’s and Seaside to the town centre.

This is a significant part of our town.   Not only is it a major entry point for people coming in and out, there are several well-established residential areas, three schools, nine churches,  many shops, large and small businesses and retail outlets and community projects.  As we move towards the town increasingly the culture becomes more diverse and fragmented with problems of social decline and need evident.

To this end we are planning a prayer walk from 10 to (approx) 12 on Saturday morning of 17th May, starting from the Church of Christ the King, by the Langney roundabout.

We will build in pause points along the way, in particular at the churches.  These are:

Church of Christ the King (10); Community Church, St Anthony’s (10.15); St Andrew’s (10.30); New Hope Baptist (10.45); St Agnes (11.00); Christchurch (11.15); Marine Hall (11.30); Redeemed Christian Church of God (11.45); Salvation Army (12.00).  Times are approximate.

As it is a ‘one way’ walk, participants will need to work out their return transport arrangements.  These could be:

  • A car share arrangement
  • Walk the route twice!
  • Catch a 1, 1a,  1b bus back

It would be great to sense Christians uniting together with a common heart to bless this part of our town.

Brilliant Religious Children’s Christmas and Easter Shows that comes to you

I’m Dina and I was wondering if Churches In Eastbourne are booking an Easter Children’s Show this year? Or one of our Christmas comedy pantos? LolBear are a professional Christian Theatre company, our shows are unique, with an emphasis on humour and professional skilled performers.

Our Easter comedy musical is a totally interactive show. It’s brilliantly funny. It’s a show for young children that any age will enjoy. Our aim with this show is to make it a lot of fun, unforgettable and at the end to seriously teach the true story and spiritual meaning of Easter.

We bring the theatre to your church. What makes our shows unique in the space is that our actors are top working professionals. They have had lead parts in TV and West End Shows (like Les Misérables). Our actors also headline West End Comedy Clubs, Cruise Ships and Cabaret Shows. See our website for further credits, and for details and reviews of our show.

Regards,

Dina
