Bible By The Beach – News from the Organisers

You may have heard about Bible by the Beach (biblebythebeach.org) – we hope you have! – but you may not know that the Sunday evening Celebration is open to all and free to all!  A number of churches cancel their evening services and bring folk along to the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne and we want to invite you and your congregation to join us too on Sunday 1st May in Eastbourne!

We are delighted to have Graham Beynon joining us. Graham is pastor of Grace Church, Cambridge, and also Director of Independent Ministry Training at Oak Hill Theological College.   Graham was previously an audiological scientist working with hearing and balance disorders. He then moved to pastor churches in Cambridge and Leicester. He has particularly been involved in leading church plants.

Graham’s PhD was from the University of St Andrews examining the theology of Isaac Watts. He is the author of a number of books including Emotions: Living Life in Colour (IVP)God’s New Community: New Testament Patterns for Today’s Church (IVP)Planting for the Gospel: a hands on guide to church planting (Christian Focus), Isaac Watts: His Life and Thought (Christian Focus).

We are also joined by All Souls Orchestra who will be accompanying us as we join in songs of praise.  All Souls Orchestra are celebrating their 50th Anniversary and so we are privileged that they will be sharing it with us!  The Evening Celebration is followed by a concert at 9:15pm.  So why not stay and join Michael Andrews with members of the All Souls Orchestra in an eclectic concert featuring a range of music styles to suit many tastes.  As well as conductor and organist, Michael is known for his love of jazz and musicals and will be featuring various members of the Orchestra, singers and band. (Concert tickets cost just £8 and can be purchase via the BBTB website or on the evening. The concert is free to delegates.)

Finally, it is not too late to book tickets for the conference – so do visit www.biblebythebeach.org for more information.
