Eastbourne Salvation Army Needs Your Help

This winter, Eastbourne Salvation Army, in partnership with Eastbourne Council, is running the SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) program. When SWEP is activated, we’ll be providing overnight shelter for low-risk homeless individuals in our building.

We’re reaching out for your support in three specific ways:

1 Night Shift Volunteers – We need volunteers willing to help us staff night shifts.
2 Breakfast Support – Volunteers, teams, or churches to prepare and serve a hot breakfast.
3 Evening Meal Support – Volunteers, teams, or churches to provide a hot evening meal.

As SWEP activation depends on the weather, there may be little notice before we need to set up.

If you’re able to assist, or would like more information please contact Pauline at paulinepeagam@hotmail.com or call her at 07907 680076.

All volunteers will simply need to fill out a short Salvation Army volunteer form.

Thank you so much for considering how you might help us make a difference this winter!

God bless
Major Ralph Walker
