For 23 years, Andrew and his wife Norine served as missionaries in Turkey. In October 2016, they hit headlines around the world when they were arrested and falsely accused of terrorism. For the next two years, Andrew was held in Turkish prisons. Following a worldwide prayer movement, he was dramatically released in October 2018.
At the event, Andrew will share his compelling story with us; encourage us to remember those who remain in prison for their faith; and challenge us to consider how ready we are to face opposition for Jesus. There will also be an opportunity to put questions to Andrew. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
