The Bishop of Lewes has sent a message to all Church of England parishes across East Sussex asking them to close their doors in a bid to help slow the spread of Covid-19. Rev William Hazlewood issued the request after being approached by the Head of Environmental Health for Rother and Wealden districts, Richard Parker-Harding.
God gave us all the gift of FREE CHOICE, so churches should stay open, with Covid -aware conditions in place, for those who wish to gather together to praise and worship as the Lord mandated in Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not neglect meeting together as some habitually do….”
Psalm 91 promises protection if we dwell in the shelter of the Most High….and freedom from fear…v5 “You will not fear the terror of night nor the arrow that flies by day nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness….”
We seem to be putting our faith in the vaccines before the Lord. He must be heart-broken that Salisbury Cathedral is being used, not to cry out to Him with repentance and pleadings for mercy, but for vaccinations, which are touted as being the new “god” to save us. We are indeed in End Times.
