Prayer Walks Planned for Seaside and Upperton

Prayer walks in Seaside and Upperton

Do you love Eastbourne?  If so, what better way to bless the town we love by praying through its roads and streets?

On Saturday 4th July there is a prayer walk starting at 10 am from the Church of Christ the King (by the big Langney roundabout) and walking down St Anthony’s Avenue and Seaside, calling by the nine churches en route and ending at the Salvation Army, Pevensey Road, for refreshments about 12 noon.

On Saturday 11th July there is a prayer walk around the Upperton area.  There will be two groups, each starting at 10 am. One starting at St Michael’s Church (Willingdon Road) and the other at Elim Church (Hartfield Road).  They will walk and pray through the north and south areas of Upperton including important locations such as the Hospital and the Station.  Both praying groups will finish at Emmanuel Church for refreshments hopefully near the same time about 11.30.

Prayer Resource booklets will be available to help in our prayers.

‘Seek the peace and prosperity of the city … and pray to the Lord for it’.  Jeremiah 29:7
