Ellel Courses at Glyndley Manor

Explore is a series of weekend courses designed to train and equip God’s people through a journey of learning, understanding and personal transformation.

WHAT IS EXPLORE?

Together we will find that there is hope and help for the issues we struggle with in everyday life – issues of anxiety, stress, physical pain, emotional distress, problems in relationships, addictive behaviour and depression to name just a few.

Those who journey through Explore will grow in their personal relationship with the Lord but also become better equipped to help others as they learn how to minister in the love and power of God to those in need.

Each of the events in the series will include time for worship, biblical teaching, group discussion, activities and opportunity for prayer.

EXPLORE A COURSE

EXPLORE A1: THE ABUNDANT CHRISTIAN LIFE                                17 – 18 MAR 2023

ABOUT THE COURSE

Living the Christian life offers us many promises, yet we can easily feel stuck or dry in our relationship with God. We can look at others who seem to be thriving and feel bad because we can’t overcome our personal life issues.

This course is all about hope. Hope for freedom from the past and hope for abundant life in the future.

It answers life’s foundational questions from a solid biblical perspective as we look at the sweep of history from the early days in Genesis until the Lord’s return in Revelation. We will understand better how humankind got to be in such a mess, God’s amazing rescue plan for each one of us, and the promise of an abundant life in the midst of it all.

The teaching will look at possible roots of issues in our lives, explore God’s passionate heart to heal, how that was expressed through the life of Jesus and how He is still the God who heals!

Intimacy with God – A Crowhurst Teaching Day

Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre are holding a Teaching Day on March 10th to explore the theme an ‘Increasing Intimacy with God.’  They say:

In our present fragmented and busy world, many of us long for greater connections and deeper relationships. In the deepest places of our hearts, we yearn for a greater intimacy with God, a deeper and more fulfilling relationship with Him.

Come and join us for a Teaching Day on March 10th when we will be exploring the theme an ‘Increasing Intimacy with God.’ We will look at the incredible book from the Bible, the Song of Songs, how God wants to overwhelm with His love and draw us to Himself into a deeper place where we can hear His heartbeat. We will be looking at what prevents us from coming to that place, as well as time-honoured practical ways that can help us do so.

Can you hear His invitation to experience in a fresh way the wonder and mystery of His love… ‘Come away with me, my beloved!!’ (Song of Songs 2v10)?

£30 per person to include morning refreshments, a 2 course lunch, afternoon refreshments & cake and use of the fully equipped art room.  Alternatively, there is the option to join the teaching sessions via Zoom at £10 per person.
